The “Good Old Days” Are Today, My Friend

Seasons Greetings, my friend!

Let me gladly wish you a very Merry **Almost** Christmas. After all the waiting, preparing, buying, wrapping, cooking, etc., we’re now merely a few days away from celebrating our Savior’s birth!

And shortly thereafter, we’ll all be staring down yet another year (wasn’t it just 2019??).

If you’re anything like me, you can easily fall into the trap of looking ahead–so much so, that you end up missing what’s right in front of you. Sometimes, we become so focused on tomorrow that we end up missing today. Anyone relate?

If so, join me over at Proverbs 31 Ministries where you can read my new devotion, “Learning to Enjoy the “Good Old Days” Today.”

The key verse for this devotion comes from Psalm 90:12, where Moses succinctly and beautifully writes:

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (NIV)

To help encourage and remind you to embrace the beauty of today, I’ve created a pretty, printable download of this Scripture for you. Grab your copy below!

I pray the words of this devotion bring new life and joy to your soul–and may the God of all peace and comfort fill you to overflowing as we finish out 2021. See you in the new year, my friend!

With Grace,
